Food Tour Marseille

Taste Marseille like a local

Marseille

The oldest city in France Marseille or Massalia

Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the golden hills of Provence, Marseille is France's oldest city and one of its most vibrant, a place where history, culture, and gastronomy collide in a spectacular way.

From the iconic Vieux-Port, where fishermen still sell their catch every morning, to the colorful rooftops of Le Panier, the french's oldest neighborhood, Marseille pulses with a raw, authentic energy that no other French city can match.

Stroll along the legendary Canebière, lose yourself in the narrow alleys of Le Panier, and let the breathtaking silhouette of La Major cathedral stop you in your tracks.

Famous for its bouillabaisse, its street food, its bold flavors, Marseille is not a city you visit, it's a city you feel. Loud, generous, sun-drenched, and deeply proud of its roots.

Forget everything you think you know about France. This is the South.

This is Marseille.

About Your guide

Founder of Savor Provence · Cassis & Marseille

🎓 Tourism graduate📍 Born & raised in Provence⭐ 8 years local experience

"I didn't create Savor Provence to sell a tour. I created it to share what I love most, the way we actually live here, in the South of France."

A little about me :

I hold a degree in Tourism and have spent the last 8 years working across tourism and hospitality in Provence, from restaurants to guided experiences, always rooted in the same region I grew up in.

I created Savor Provence out of a simple desire: to show as many visitors as possible what life in the South of France truly feels like. Not the postcard version, the real one. The morning markets, the slow lunches, the laughter over a game of pétanque, the flavors that have been part of this land for centuries.

What we call the art de vivre provençal, "the Provençal way of life" is something I've lived every day. And sharing it, with warmth and good humor, is what I do best.

👥A trusted team of local guides

Carefully selected · Same values · Same experience

On days when I'm not leading the tour myself, you'll be in the hands of carefully selected partner guides, locals just like me, passionate about their region and trained to deliver the exact same authentic experience Savor Provence is known for.

Every guide in our team shares the same commitment: genuine passion for Provence, deep local knowledge, and a warm, convivial spirit.

Whoever leads your tour, the experience will be the same, real, personal, and unforgettable.

📍 Born & raised locally❤️ Passion-driven🎓 Carefully vetted⭐ Same Savor Provence standards

Whether you're discovering Cassis, Marseille or Aix for the first time, we'll make sure you leave with more than just great memories, you'll leave with a true taste of the Mediterranean art de vivre.

What to expect from our guides

❤️Genuine local passion

Every story, every tasting, every stop is something we genuinely love, not a script. You'll feel the difference.

😄 Warm & convivial atmosphere

Good humor and conviviality are the backbone of southern French life, and of every tour we run.

🏅Years of hands-on expertise

Between tourism, restaurants, and life as locals, we know this region inside out, its people, its producers, its hidden corners.

✨Authentic, never touristy

Our tours are designed to feel like a morning with a friend — not a guided visit. Small groups, real moments, zero rush.
